Before buying a puppy, you should talk to owners of dogs about the breed you are interested in. Gather as much information as you can. How many walks a day will my puppy need when an adult? Will it be too big to be in the house 24 hours a day? Will I have time to care for my pet dog once it is an adult?
Each breed was developed for a specific function and, as a result, his or her personality traits may not match your lifestyle. Be sure that you are completely familiar with the breed you are interested in before buying your puppy. Remember your puppy is depending on you to love and care for it!
